We provide assistance with food, clothing, utilities, medication, and housewares/furniture for referrals from the Cumbee Center and Nuture Home and victims of residential fires. A Senior Food Program is also available for qualifying Seniors on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 8:00a – 9:30a. Distribution is done in Aiken, Jackson, and Wagener.

Our services are intended to help people move from a place of need toward their potential

Qualifying individuals and families receive food for a week from our Aiken office Food Pantry.  For seniors (age 60 & over),  a monthly supplement of groceries can be made available through our Food for Seniors Program.

Medical Support includes providing assistance with dental extractions, medical procedures, necessary equipment, prescriptions, if qualified.

To prevent service disconnects, Utility Assistance may be provided to those clients who are facing temporary or emergency situations, and we provide fans and heaters.

Vouchers for Clothing are provided to our Resale stores (including diapers).

Furniture & Housewares are made available for referrals from the Red Cross for ‘burn-outs’ and and referrals from the Cumbee Center and Nurture Home.

We recently launched a Car Ministry to provide automobiles and trucks to working individuals who are struggling financially with transportation.

If you are an adult, employed, looking for employment, or in school, but can't afford transportation, why not apply to ACTS for a bicycle through our Bicycle Program.
