Impact

Providing Hope To Our Neighbors in Need for more than 36 Years!

During the past year, our community continued to experience the impacts of COVID compounded by a challenging economy. As a result, many individuals and families were in need of additional assistance and ACTS was there to help! We continued our focus on serving our rural, underserved communities across Aiken and the number of clients served in 2022 increased by more than 20% from the prior year.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, we provided critical services in the form of Food, Clothing, Utility Assistance, Medical Assistance, Rent Assistance, and other services to prevent hardship and homelessness such as motel accommodations and car repairs. Our Transportation Program provided bicycles and used cars to qualified adults who are working to become self-sufficient. We continued to expand our monthly Food Distribution Program and now we serve the following communities: Ridge Spring, Oakwood-Windsor, New Ellenton, Graniteville, Jackson, Wagener, Perry, and Salley. Our Food Pantry serves clients in Aiken and surrounding areas Monday through Friday.
